PHICOMETRE IN SITU SHEARING TEST

The phicometer allows to perform in situ shearing test. The borehole is drilled so as to minimize wall disturbance and
to keep a cavity diameter compatible with the equipment (63 mm).

The probe is lowered into the borehole to the required test depth, thanks to rods for pulling effort.


It can be used with the following equipment

• Ménard pressuremeter

• Nitrogen bottle with regulator

• Drilling rods
